PROVIDENCE — Members of the ACI Investigations Unit have charged two men as fugitives from justice in separate incidents of grand larceny, authorities said Tuesday.
Shaun Turell, 46, of the Bronx, New York, and Marvin Root, 34, of Providence, were arrested following investigations by the ACI Records and Identification Unit.
Turell and Root were taken into custody on Dec. 31 and subsequently arraigned at Third District Court.
Turell, whose last known address was 1500 Waters Place, was wanted by the State of New York.
Root, from 138 Sutton Street, was a fugitive from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Both men were released into the custody of the Sheriffs Department after their arraignment.
