PITTSFIELD — Two individuals were hospitalized with stab wounds after an incident on Harvard Street, the Pittsfield Police Department reported.
Police responded to the scene around midnight on Dec. 11, where they found a male and female victim, both Pittsfield residents, with stab injuries.
They were promptly treated at Berkshire Medical Center, with the male victim suffering more severe wounds.
Authorities expect both victims to recover.
Jacob Frusciente, 32, also of Pittsfield, was arrested following the investigation.
He faces charges including Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
Frusciente is known to have connections with the victims and was arraigned on Dec. 12 at Central Berkshire District Court.
The Pittsfield Police Department is seeking further information from the public.
