HOLYOKE — Two men face multiple drug and weapons charges following a raid by local and federal authorities in Holyoke on Tuesday.
The Holyoke Police Department Narcotics Bureau and the Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant at 93 Lyman St. on Dec. 10 after an extensive investigation.
Luis Cepeda Fuentes, 34, and David Carvalho, 34, were arrested during the operation.
Cepeda Fuentes was charged with possession of Class A and B substances, intent to distribute Class A and B substances, firearm possession during a felony, possession of a loaded firearm without an FID card, four counts of possessing large capacity feeding devices, ammunition possession without an FID card, and unlawful storage of a firearm.
Carvalho faces charges including an outstanding warrant, possession of Class A and B substances, and intent to distribute Class A and B substances.
The Holyoke Police Department acknowledged assistance from K-9 units from neighboring departments, including Sgt.
Beaulieu and K-9 Gino from Easthampton Police, and Officer Brodeur and K-9 Jax from Chicopee Police.
