BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives from District B-2 are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man involved in a burglary on Nov. 19 at Cardinal Medeiros Manor Apartments in Dorchester.
The incident occurred between 1:15 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. at 11 Woodcliff Street.
The suspect, described as a Hispanic male wearing glasses, a red shirt, black pants, and a lanyard around his neck, is reported to have a tattoo on his right arm and was carrying a brown backpack.
According to the authorities, the individual entered the apartment of an elderly resident, deceived the victim into handing over financial documents, and stole several personal items, including credit cards.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the situation and urges anyone with information to contact the District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.
The department assures the public that the identity of anyone providing tips anonymously will be protected.
