MIDDLESEX — A single-vehicle crash on I-89 left a Waterbury man injured after his car overturned early Sunday morning.
Vermont State Police, along with Middlesex Fire Dept., Montpelier Fire Dept., Montpelier EMS, and Montpelier Police Department, responded to the scene at mile marker 55.3 at about 8:19 a.m. under clear weather and road conditions.
Charles Norway, 31, was driving a 2020 Subaru WRX northbound when he reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which went off the roadway and overturned.
The car was deemed totaled.
Authorities suspect Norway experienced a medical incident while driving, leading to the crash.
