TUNBRIDGE — Vermont State Police arrested a 33-year-old Beaumont woman on charges of domestic assault committed in the presence of a child at a Tunbridge residence.
Sabrina McCarty was taken into custody at 11:17 a.m. on Nov. 11 after troopers responded to a call for a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, they determined McCarty had inflicted pain and injury on a 75-year-old household member.
The identity of the victim has not been released by authorities to protect their privacy.
McCarty was transported to the Royalton barracks for processing.
She received court-ordered conditions of release and was cited to appear before the Orange County Superior Court Criminal Division at 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 12 to respond to the charges.
