MASHPEE — The Mashpee Police Department is requesting public assistance in locating witnesses to an assault and battery incident that took place this past Saturday at Mashpee Commons.
The event occurred in the parking lot west of Steeple Street and south of Falmouth Road on Nov. 2, at around 3:05 p.m.
According to the police, there were individuals who attempted to help the victim and may have seen the assault but departed before police officers arrived at the scene.
Investigators are keen on speaking with anyone who was present during the incident.
The Mashpee Police Department urges witnesses or anyone with information to contact Detective Koch at 508-539-1480, extension 7239.
