BOSTON — A Hyde Park man was arrested and charged with murder after police responded to a homicide on Garfield Avenue Friday afternoon.
At about 1:14 p.m., on Nov. 8, officers from District E-18 (Hyde Park) arrived at the scene following reports of shots fired and a person shot.
Jose Alberto Feliz, 28, also a Hyde Park resident, was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the location.
Isaiah Trevon Smith, 28, was taken into custody at the scene without incident.
Smith is facing charges of murder and various firearms offenses.
His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday morning at West Roxbury District Court.
The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the case.
