BOSTON — A joint operation involving the Boston Police Department’s Youth Violence Strike Force, Massachusetts State Police, and Transit Police led to the arrest of a suspect in a September stabbing incident, authorities said Tuesday.
Brima Wurie, 45, of Boston, was apprehended at approximately 2:14 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 307 Huntington Ave.
He is suspected in a stabbing that took place on Sept. 30 at the intersection of Kenilworth St. and Lambert Ave. in Roxbury.
Following the execution of an arrest warrant, Wurie was taken into custody without incident.
He is expected to face arraignment in Roxbury District Court on charges including Assault & Battery with a Deadly Weapon (Causing Serious Bodily Injury), Assault to Murder While Armed, and Assault & Battery with a Dangerous Weapon.
