Worcester man arrested for car break, larceny of DJ equipment

WORCESTER — Worcester Police officers arrested a man early Sunday morning after he was accused of stealing speakers and DJ equipment from a parked vehicle on Millbury St.

At approximately 4:45 a.m., police were dispatched following a report of larceny from a vehicle.

Upon their arrival, officers gathered information and concluded that two individuals had approached the vehicle, opened the trunk, and removed the items.

A be-on-the-lookout (BOLO) was issued to locate the suspects.

Shortly after, officers stopped Lawrence Gaul, 43, of South Buffum St. near the scene.

The stolen speakers were found in his possession.

Gaul was arrested and charged with Breaking into a Vehicle during the Nighttime and Larceny Over $1200.

The stolen items were subsequently returned to their rightful owner.
