BOURNE — At about 1:27 p.m. today, Bourne Police and Fire/Rescue responded to a call of a person stuck in a marsh off Vineyard Circle.
A 41-year-old man was found by officers and paramedics, trapped in dense brush in a seldom-traveled area of the marsh.
The individual was safely extracted and transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The duration of the man’s entrapment in the marsh remains unconfirmed by Bourne Police.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.
