Boston police investigate fatal stabbing in Jamaica Plain

BOSTON — Boston police are conducting a homicide investigation following a fatal stabbing in Jamaica Plain early Sunday morning.

At about 4:42 a.m. on Aug. 4, officers from District E-13 responded to a call at 10 Amory Terrace where they found a 45-year-old male with a stab wound.

The victim, identified as Daniel Coke of Jamaica Plain, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the incident and urges anyone with information to contact them at 617-343-4470.

The department emphasizes the confidentiality of those wishing to assist the investigation anonymously.
