Woman arrested for domestic assault in Grafton

GRAFTON — Vermont State Police arrested a New Hampshire woman early Sunday morning on charges of domestic assault following an emergency call that ended abruptly.

Authorities responded to a 911 hangup at a Route 121 residence in Grafton at 1:47 a.m. Upon arrival, they launched an investigation which led to the arrest of Erika L. Hearne, 32, of Keene, New Hampshire.

Hearne is accused of physically assaulting a member of the household.

After the incident, she was taken to the Westminster Barracks for processing.

Following her arrest, Hearne was issued conditions of release and is slated to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division on July 8 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the allegations.
