JERICHO — After a theft at a local Dollar General on Route 15, a man turned himself in to Vermont State Police on Thursday.
Authorities received a call at approximately 2:33 p.m. from Aaron Cushing, 45, who confessed to the retail theft that occurred on July 2 at about 3:09 p.m.
Following his confession, Cushing was issued a citation to appear before the Chittenden County Superior Court, Criminal Division.
He is scheduled to answer to the charge of retail theft on Aug. 15 at 8:30 a.m. at the Chittenden court.
The court has confirmed that action will be taken on the case.
