STOCKBRIDGE — A 28-year-old Stockbridge man was arrested Saturday afternoon on an active extraditable warrant from New Hampshire, according to the Vermont State Police.
Christoph M. Berger was taken into custody around 2:09 p.m. by troopers from the VSP Royalton Barracks with the help of the Portsmouth Police Department.
The arrest took place on Old Log Rd in Stockbridge.
Berger was transported to Southern State Correctional Facility following his arrest.
Details on the charges from New Hampshire were not immediately released.
Authorities scheduled Berger to appear in court to face the fugitive from justice charge, but the date and time of the hearing were not included in the initial report.
