COVENTRY — A single-vehicle accident late Wednesday night resulted in suspected injuries to a 25-year-old Eden man, according to Vermont State Police.
Devon Lanpher was driving on VT Route 14 near the intersection with US Route 5 when he reportedly lost control of his vehicle around 11:33 p.m.
The 2014 Honda Civic veered off the road and descended an embankment, leading to the vehicle being totaled.
Emergency responders from Newport Ambulance along with state troopers, arrived at the scene to assist Lanpher, who was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the mishap.
He was subsequently transported to North Country Hospital to receive medical attention for his injuries.
State Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
