Boston teen identified as victim in Gladeside Avenue homicide

BOSTON — Boston Police Department officials have identified the victim in the July 5 shooting at Gladeside Avenue and Donwood Terrace as 17-year-old Christian Cousins of Stoughton.

Officers from District B-3 responded to a call at about 12:23 p.m. on Friday, where they discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.

Both were transported to local hospitals, with one victim sustaining non-life threatening injuries.

Cousins, who suffered life-threatening injuries, was later pronounced dead.

The Homicide Unit of the Boston Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances of the incident.
