MANCHESTER — A 64-year-old Manchester man faces felony charges for allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile who was once in his care as a foster child.

Dana Lemieux turned himself in to Manchester police on June 27 after a warrant was issued for his arrest on two counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault.

The charges stem from a report made to police last month by a juvenile who alleged Lemieux sexually abused him when he was 5 years old and living as Lemieux’s foster child.

The Manchester Police Juvenile Unit investigated the claim and established probable cause for an arrest warrant.

Lemieux’s bail was set at $2,500 cash.

Police are asking anyone with information about the case to contact Detective Canada Stewart at 603-792-5493 or the Manchester Crimeline at 603-624-4040.
