Worcester police seek help locating missing teen

WORCESTER — The Worcester Police Department is requesting the public’s help in finding a missing teenager, Matthew Sharer, age 18, who is believed to be in the city’s Clement Street area.

Sharer, originally from Maryland, was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a silver hoodie.

Authorities urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to immediately contact 911 or the Worcester Police Department at 508-799-8606.

The department has not provided any additional details about when Sharer went missing or why they suspect he may be in Worcester.

Community members are being asked to remain vigilant and report any sightings or information that could lead to locating Sharer and ensuring his safety.
