Cranston police seek suspect in nighttime business burglary

CRANSTON — Cranston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a nighttime burglary on Broad Street.

According to authorities, the suspect broke into a business in the 1800 block of Broad Street.

Surveillance photos show the suspect is a thin white female, believed to be in her late teens to early 20s.

She was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt emblazoned with the word “Brooklyn” on both the back and front, blue spandex-type shorts, and black heeled boots.

Detective Bob Lindsay is leading the investigation and urges anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to come forward.

The Cranston Police Department has shared the photographs of the suspect and is counting on community support to apprehend the individual responsible for the burglary.
