Woman arrested with fentanyl, heroin and firearm in Dover

DOVER — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a Guilford woman after a Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Deputy discovered a substantial amount of illegal drugs and a firearm in her vehicle.

Deputy Michael Pina conducted the stop on June 7 and found approximately 108 grams of substances suspected to be fentanyl and heroin in the possession of 34-year-old Katrina Drinkwater.

During the investigation, it was also determined that Drinkwater was carrying a firearm.

Drinkwater was taken into custody and transported to the county jail.

She has been charged with possession of a schedule drug, Class B, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

The Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office has not released further details about the traffic stop or the investigation that followed.

Drinkwater’s arraignment date has yet to be scheduled.
