Rhode Island troopers make multiple arrests for disorderly conduct, assault

EXETER — Two men were arrested Thursday afternoon for fighting and simple assault following a disturbance at a Pine View Lane residence, Rhode Island State Police reported.

At 3:24 p.m., troopers responded to a call at 26B Pine View Lane and subsequently arrested Derek Robberson, 31, of Exeter, for disorderly conduct and simple assault.

Robberson was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and released with a summons to appear in Fourth District Court.

In a related incident, Roger Stafford, 48, also of Exeter, was arrested on the same charges.

Stafford, identified as a probation violator, was held at the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center pending an arraignment.

Later that evening, at 11:19 p.m., troopers arrested Aleecia Dickey, 22, of Woonsocket, on a bench warrant for failing to appear for a pretrial conference on a charge of domestic simple assault.

Dickey was apprehended during a vehicle stop in West Warwick and taken to Hope Valley Barracks before being transferred to the Adult Correctional Institution Women’s Intake Center.
