SWANTON — A St. Albans man was cited for negligent operation after Vermont State Police caught him driving at high speeds on Interstate 89 on June 7.
Brennen Ingerson, 23, was observed by troopers around 12:55 p.m. traveling northbound near mile marker 117 at a speed of 97 mph, significantly over the 65 mph speed limit.
Using radar to confirm the speed, authorities conducted a traffic stop.
Ingerson was stopped without incident and was later released with a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on July 15.
