BROOKFIELD — A juvenile walking home from their bus stop was followed by two unidentified vehicles around 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, raising concerns that prompted an investigation by the Vermont State Police.
According to authorities, the juvenile managed to evade the vehicles and safely reached their residence, only to find a black van parked in the driveway.
The child contacted their mother, who arrived home to find two older females sitting in the van.
After a brief interaction, the van left the area in an unknown direction.
The identities of the individuals and the reason for their presence at the residence remain unclear.
The Vermont State Police have not released any identifying information about the juvenile and are currently seeking the public’s assistance to locate the three vehicles involved in the incident.
