WEST WARWICK — Troopers arrested a man on a disorderly conduct warrant and another on charges of obtaining property by false pretenses during late-night operations in the town.
At 11:36 p.m., Michael Reyes, 34, of 767 Providence Street, Apartment #2A, West Warwick, was taken into custody after a motor vehicle stop on Providence Street.
Reyes was wanted on an affidavit and arrest warrant for disorderly conduct originating out of the Providence Police Department.
Following the stop, he was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later handed over to Providence Police.
In a separate incident at 2 a.m., Nathan Applegate, 31, of 70 Evergreen Street, Providence, was arrested by troopers for obtaining property by false pretenses or personation.
Details of Applegate’s arrest were not immediately provided.
Both arrests were part of the troopers’ continued efforts to address outstanding warrants and criminal activities within the region.
