Agawam man, 76, reported missing

AGAWAM — The Agawam Police Department is pleading for assistance from the public in locating a missing 76-year-old man who may be suffering from memory issues and confusion.

Mr. Alan Roy was last seen leaving his home on June 5 in a pearl blue 2019 Toyota Highlander with Massachusetts registration 2WGH78.

According to the police, Roy called his wife after departing, informing her that he was lost.

It is believed he may have been attempting to travel to the VA Hospital in Leeds.

Roy is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and 180 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, a black and gray vest, blue shorts, and gray sneakers.

The Agawam Police are urging anyone who might come into contact with Mr. Roy or has information on his whereabouts to call them at 413-786-4767 or reach out to their local police department.
