Worcester police issue warrant for suspected murderer Lino Menjivar

WORCESTER — Worcester police have issued a warrant for the arrest of Lino Menjivar, a suspect in a homicide that took place on April 13 at 1 Allendale Street.

Menjivar, 29, is wanted on charges of murder, carrying a firearm without a license (LTC), carrying a loaded firearm, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.

He is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, a light complexion, and distinctive face tattoos.

He is also known by the alias “L.”

Authorities caution that Menjivar should be considered armed and dangerous.

The firearm used in the alleged murder has not been recovered.

Menjivar’s last known address was 23 Jefferson Street, Apt. 1, in Worcester.

However, his last known location is in Virginia, though his exact whereabouts are currently unknown.

The Worcester Police Detective Bureau is seeking any information regarding Menjivar’s location and urges anyone with information to contact them at (508) 799-8651.

The public is advised to use caution and not to approach Menjivar, as he is considered a threat due to the nature of the charges against him and the fact that he may still be armed.

The police have not released any further details about the homicide case at this time.
