Norwalk police nab narcotics dealer after 8-month probe

NORWALK — After an extensive eight-month investigation, the Norwalk Police Special Services Division, in collaboration with the Stamford Police Narcotics/Organized Crime Unit, arrested 31-year-old Hunter Wells on June 4.

Wells, who resides at 29 Van Buren Ave Apartment L3 in Norwalk, was apprehended following the execution of search and seizure warrants on his person, vehicle, and residence.

Throughout the investigation, Wells had sold Percocet pills laced with fentanyl, ecstasy, and marijuana to undercover officers on several occasions.

The suspect now faces two counts of sale of a narcotic substance and three counts of sale of cannabis.

He has been placed on a $140,000 bond, with a court appearance scheduled for June 18.

The investigation into Wells’ activities remains active, and the Norwalk Police Department encourages community members to come forward with any information.
