South Portland police seek help identifying person of interest

SOUTH PORTLAND — The South Portland Police Department is reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying a male who is a person of interest in a recent incident at a local Target store.

The department took to its Facebook page, sharing a photograph of the individual in question, asking the public if they recognize him.

The appeal comes after what the department describes as a “busy week,” signaling an increase in activity requiring public assistance.

Officer Damion Thompson is handling the inquiries.
