Boston police investigating robbery in Roxbury

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives from District B-2 are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a recent robbery in Roxbury.

The incident, which occurred on Monday, May 27, between 8 p.m. and 8:20 p.m. at 22 Slayton Way, is currently under investigation.

The individual sought by the police is a light-skinned juvenile male, estimated to be about 5 feet 2 inches tall.

He was last seen sporting a cornrow hairstyle with a bun and wearing a black Misfits t-shirt alongside dark pants.

The department is diligently reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding the robbery.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspect or the event to reach out to the District B-2 detectives at (617) 343-4275.

In an effort to protect the anonymity of individuals providing tips, community members can also submit information without revealing their identity.

The Boston Police Department assures that the identities of informants will be kept confidential and encourages anyone who can contribute to the investigation to come forward.
