PROVIDENCE — State Troopers arrested a 25-year-old Cranston man late Tuesday night on multiple charges, including driving under the influence, following a traffic stop in Providence.

Josue Bautista, of 107 Fletcher Street, was taken into custody at 8:22 p.m. after being stopped on Providence Place.

He faces charges of driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs with an unknown blood alcohol content for the second time, refusal to submit to a chemical test for the second time, driving with a suspended license for certain violations also for the second time, and driving under the influence when his license was already suspended for a previous DUI.

He was later arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and issued a date to appear in court.
