Cornwall man arrested on suspicion of DUI after rollover crash

CORNWALL — A single-vehicle accident late Thursday night resulted in the arrest of a Cornwall man on suspicion of driving under the influence.

At approximately 9:32 p.m. on May 31, state troopers were dispatched to a rollover crash on West Street near Cross Road.

Upon arrival, they found a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado overturned in a ditch.

The driver, identified as 29-year-old Brad-Leigh Grace of Cornwall, was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.

He sustained suspected moderate injuries and was transported to Porter Medical Center for treatment.

During the interaction with Grace at the crash site, troopers observed signs of impairment.

After conducting a field screening, they took Grace into custody on suspicion of DUI.

The Silverado incurred significant damage, with the front, hood, roof, windshield, wheel, and side all affected.
