Woman faces DUI charge after Burke crash

BURKE — Troopers from the Vermont State Police – St. Johnsbury Barracks arrested a Lyndonville woman on charges of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash late Thursday night.

Authorities responded to the scene at 466 VT Route 114 around 11:07 p.m., where they discovered Shannan Moran, 29, outside her vehicle.

During the interaction, troopers noted signs of impairment and conducted standard field sobriety tests, which Moran reportedly failed.

Moran was taken into custody and processed at the St. Johnsbury Barracks.

She is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on June 17 at 8:30 a.m. to face DUI charges.
