Wickford man arrested on disorderly conduct warrant, another for DUI

WICKFORD — Two men were arrested in separate incidents by state troopers on Route 95 in Warwick, with one facing a disorderly conduct warrant and the other charged with DUI and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

On April 1, at 1:44 p.m., troopers arrested Jason Horton, 39, of Providence, Rhode Island, after stopping his vehicle on Route 95.

Horton was wanted on an affidavit and arrest warrant for disorderly conduct issued by the Providence Police Department.

Following the traffic stop, Horton was taken to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later handed over to Providence authorities.

Earlier that day, at 1:36 a.m., Jonathan Tartaglione, 37, of Warwick, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, also a first offense.

The arrest followed a motor vehicle stop on the same route.

Tartaglione was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult.
