Norwalk man arrested on multiple counts of sexual assault of a minor

NORWALK — A Norwalk resident was arrested on May 31, in connection with the sexual assault of a minor following an investigation by local authorities.

The Norwalk Police Department’s Special Victims Unit detained 30-year-old Marc Lugo of 54 Beacon Street after a warrant was issued through Stamford Superior Court.

The arrest came after a probe that began in February when police received a complaint alleging the sexual assault of a minor.

Lugo faces six counts of second-degree sexual assault, six counts of risk of injury to a minor, and six counts of harmful communication with a minor.

His bond has been set at $1 million.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in court on June 13.
