COHASSET — A 54-year-old Scituate man was transported to South Shore Hospital by ambulance following a crash between a pick-up truck and a bicycle in the 300-block of North Main Street at about 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29.
The bicyclist was traveling north on North Main Street when a 2022 Chevrolet pick-up truck backed out of a residential driveway and struck the bike.
The rider was thrown from the bike and landed several yards away from the initial impact point.
The truck driver, a 20-year-old male from Cohasset, was uninjured.
The Scituate man was wearing a helmet but did sustain visible injuries.
This crash remains under investigation.
