Boston police seek public’s help finding missing teen

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Jayla Santiago, of Dorchester.

Jayla was last seen during the evening of Friday, May 17, near 206 Norwell Street in Dorchester.

She is described as a light-skinned Hispanic female, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with shoulder-length straight black hair, and green or hazel eyes.

She was last seen wearing a gray sweater, blue jeans, and brown boots.

Jayla is known to frequent the areas of Brighton, Dorchester, East Boston, and Revere, often in the company of her 16-year-old boyfriend, Joshua Echevarria, who has also been reported missing.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is advised to contact 911 or B-3 Detectives at 617-343-4712.
