One injured in Manchester by the Sea rollover accident

MANCHESTER BY THE SEA — A vehicle accident involving a rollover and possible entrapment on Atwater Ave. prompted an emergency response from local fire and police departments today.

The North Shore Regional 911 Center alerted the Manchester Fire and Manchester by the Sea Police Department at 12:37 p.m. about the incident.

Following the alert, an All Tone was transmitted, and Engine 1, Ambulance 1, and C1 were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, emergency crews found one individual involved in the accident.

The party was transported to a local emergency department with minor injuries.

During the vehicle accident response, the Manchester by the Sea Fire Department received additional support from call-back full-time and call firefighters to handle a separate fire alarm activation.

No further details about the fire alarm were immediately available.

The Manchester by the Sea Police Department is investigating the cause of the rollover.

Authorities have not released the identity of the injured party at this time and are asking anyone with information about the accident to come forward.
