Norwell man charged after crashing into home

NORWELL — A Norwell man was charged with multiple offenses after crashing his truck into a residence on Central Street on Tuesday evening.

At 6:14 p.m., Norwell Police Department officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision at 48 Central Street.

Upon arrival, they found a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado embedded in the house, causing significant damage.

The driver, identified as 33-year-old Jeremy Trainor of Norwell, was still inside the vehicle.

Officers and paramedics worked together to extricate Trainor from the truck.

He was then evaluated by Norwell Fire Department paramedics and transported to a local hospital for further assessment.

Trainor is facing charges including operating under the influence of liquor, operating to endanger, and a marked lanes violation, according to Norwell Police.

The incident is still under investigation, and no additional information has been released at this time.
