WOODBURY — Two individuals were taken into custody on May 27 after police recovered a stolen travel trailer worth an estimated $5,000.

The incident began when troopers from the Berlin Barracks received a report of the theft on May 24 at 3:59 p.m.

The 30-foot white Keystone Cougar had been taken earlier that day from 61 Peacham Pond Road in Marshfield, with the crime reportedly occurring around 6:45 a.m.

Following witness accounts and help from the public, law enforcement located the stolen trailer at a Woodbury residence on 2537 Dog Pond Road.

Reuben Adams, 46, and Danielle Gilman, 38, both of Woodbury, were found in possession of the property.

The rightful owners have since recovered the trailer.

Adams and Gilman were issued citations to appear at the Washington County Superior Court Criminal Division on July 11 to respond to the possession of stolen property charges.

Both were released pending their court date.
