NCUHS varsity baseball wins 4-0 over Hazen on Senior Day

NEWPORT — North Country Union High School varsity Baseball (8-4) picked up a 4-0 shutout win over Hazen on Senior Day.

Dakoda Clark went 2-for-3, while Joe LeBlanc hit 1-for-2 with a triple. Trent Elie pitched well and earned the win in relief. Varsity Baseball will host Randolph on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

Varsity Softball (6-8) won their third game in a row with a 15-1 victory at Lake Region on Saturday.

Ally Lapierre was 2-for-4 with a triple and 3 RBIs. Abby Bathalon went 1-for-2 with a double and 3 RBIs, and Tyra Scelza was 2-for-4.

Varsity Softball will host Randolph on Tuesday, May 28 at 4:30 p.m. for their Senior Day game.
