Woman arrested for arson following domestic dispute in Nashua

NASHUA — The Nashua Police Department arrested 42-year-old Mary Nadeau, of Nashua, for arson of an occupied structure: domestic violence, a Class A felony.

On May 25, officers responded to a fire at Nadeau’s residence.

The Nashua Fire Department extinguished a small fire in the building. Officers learned that an argument between Nadeau and her intimate partner led to Nadeau intentionally setting fire to their apartment and a neighboring apartment the same evening.

Detectives from the Special Investigations Division continued the investigation, resulting in Nadeau’s on-scene arrest.

Nadeau was given a $300 cash bail pending her arraignment at the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court but was unable to make bail. Her arraignment is scheduled for May 28.
