Windsor Locks man charged in stabbing, victim hospitalized

WINDSOR LOCKS — A 30-year-old man with no certain address was arrested after allegedly stabbing another man multiple times, police said.

The Windsor Locks Police Department received an anonymous call reporting a stabbing at a local residence.

Officers arrived to find Bryam Henriquez being restrained by individuals at the scene.

Nearby, a 29-year-old male victim was discovered with multiple knife wounds, but was conscious and able to communicate with authorities.

Henriquez was arrested and faces charges including second-degree assault, third-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, possession of a dangerous weapon, threatening and disorderly conduct.

He is being held on a $100,000 bond with a court appearance scheduled for Tuesday.

The victim, who suffered wounds to his head, neck, shoulders, chest, and abdomen, was transported to Hartford Hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The Windsor Locks Police Department is familiar with the location, having conducted various investigations there previously.

They have stated that the incident seems to be isolated with no ongoing threat to the public.

The investigation continues.
