Man arrested for trespassing, violating court orders in Monkton

MONKTON — A Bristol man was arrested Sunday morning after allegedly trespassing on a residential property and violating his court-ordered conditions.

At approximately 11:15 a.m. on May 26, Vermont State Police troopers responded to a call on Silver Street where Chase Gibbs-Emilo, 24, was reportedly trespassing.

According to authorities, Gibbs-Emilo had been previously instructed multiple times to leave the premises.

The investigation further revealed that Gibbs-Emilo engaged in violent and tumultuous behavior, which was in direct violation of conditions set by the court.

Gibbs-Emilo was taken into custody and has been issued a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Sept. 9 at 12:30 p.m.
