CONCORD — Two Concord men were cited for obstruction of justice after allegedly threatening witnesses in an ongoing criminal case.

Vermont State Police reported the charges Monday against Howard Stevens, 43, and Jesse Stevens, 36, following an investigation into incidents that occurred between December and April.

Authorities were notified of the obstruction on Grist Mill Pit Road.

The investigation revealed that the Stevens brothers had attempted to impede the judicial process by threatening individuals connected to a current legal proceeding.

Both men are scheduled to appear in Essex County Court to face their charges.

The Vermont State Police have not disclosed the nature of the criminal case in which the witnesses were involved.
