Central Falls man arrested on child pornography charges

CENTRAL FALLS — Members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested 25-year-old James Martinez on May 24 for possession and transfer of child pornography.

Martinez was apprehended at approximately 6:30 a.m. and subsequently processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks.

Following the processing, he was transported to the Sixth District Court for arraignment.

The Honorable Justice Jabour presided over the arraignment, setting Martinez’s bail at $5,000 with surety.

Conditions of the bail include no contact with minors and limited internet use.
