Dublin pond drowning under investigation

DUBLIN — A man has died in an apparent drowning at Dublin Pond, prompting an active investigation by local authorities.

The New Hampshire State Police Marine Patrol Unit received a call at 3:23 p.m. today, May 24, after the adult male was found unresponsive in the water.

The man, who was recovered wearing a wetsuit and swim cap, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials have stated that the incident does not appear to be suspicious.

The identity and age of the deceased are currently withheld as authorities await notification of his family.

Responding to the incident were members from the Dublin Police Department, Dublin Fire Department, State Police Troop C, and the New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office.

Investigators are seeking information from the public to aid in the ongoing investigation.
