Man arrested for domestic assault after reported missing person found in Grafton

GRAFTON — A Grafton man was taken into custody early Thursday morning following an investigation into a reported missing person, which led to his arrest on suspicion of domestic assault.

Vermont State Police responded to a call at 12:56 a.m. from Michael Terenzetti, 60, regarding a missing individual with whom he had a domestic relationship.

The call originated from his residence on Vermont Route 121 East in Grafton.

Upon locating the missing person, troopers discovered evidence of an altercation and determined that Terenzetti had assaulted the individual.

He was subsequently arrested and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.

Terenzetti was released with a criminal citation.

He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on May 28 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the domestic assault charge.

In accordance with their policy, the Vermont State Police has not disclosed the name of the victim of the alleged domestic violence.
