Boston police seek help finding missing 78-year-old woman

BOSTON — The Boston Police Department has issued a missing person alert for Adella Baptiste, a 78-year-old woman from the South End, and is asking for the public’s assistance in locating her.

Baptiste was last seen around 12:18 p.m. on May 24 in the vicinity of 405 Columbus Avenue.

She is described as wearing a light gray and pink pajama shirt, light gray pajama pants, and slippers.

Police have indicated that she suffers from mental health issues, adding urgency to their search efforts.

The department urges anyone with information about Baptiste’s whereabouts to immediately contact 911 or reach out to D-4 detectives at 617-343-5619.
