Four arrested after stolen vehicle pursuit in Worcester ends in foot chase

WORCESTER — Detectives from the Crime Gun Intelligence Unit arrested four males following a chase involving a stolen vehicle on May 22.

At around 7:20 p.m., detectives spotted the stolen vehicle on Webster Street and attempted to conduct a stop.

The driver initially appeared to comply but then reversed into a police cruiser, injuring an ATF officer before fleeing the scene.

The vehicle was soon located on Crystal Street, where the four occupants abandoned it and fled on foot.

All suspects were captured in the nearby area.

Arthur Cordero, 19, faces multiple charges including trespass, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace, failure to stop for police, operating to endanger, leaving the scene of property damage, and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Devondre Cooper, 22, George Nguerassen, 20, and Xavier Damion Johnson, 20, all from Worcester, were charged with trespass, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace.
